Classic BBQ Beans
Smokey and sweet, an essential side to any BBQ meal
Not only is this recipe delicious, but it is also incredibly cost-effective by using dried beans and soaking them overnight. You'll never go back to canned beans after you try these.


Ingredients:

1 Cup Blue Bully BBQ Sauce

1 Cup Blue Bully BBQ Rub

3 Cups Dried Beans
(Pinto, Black, Kidney choose your favorite or explore a mix) -
4 Strips Bacon

1 Onion (Diced)

2 Bay Leaves
-
1-3 Jalapeños (Diced)

1/2 Cup Brown Sugar

1/2 Cup Honey
-
1/4 Cup Mustard
-
1 Head Garlic (Peeled and Chopped)

1/2 Cup Worcestershire Sauce
-
2 Cups Water
-
2-3 Cups Chicken Stock
Directions:

Place beans in a bowl and fill with enough water to cover by 2 inches. Let soak overnight.

Sauté onions, bacon, and Peppers in a large pot until soft about 10 minutes. Add Garlic, cook for 2 minutes.

Drain beans. Add to pot with water, stock and bay leaves. Bring to boil, then reduce to simmer for 1 hour.

Add rub, sugar, honey, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce to taste. Cover, Simmer on low for 4 hours, stirring occasionally, until beans are tender and sauce is thickened. Season with salt and serve.
